In 2017 I’m going to make a Genealogy Jar. I’ve seen other jars that are similar, but this one has a genealogy twist.
As you can see by the photo, the requirements are minimal. One mason jar and a colorful pile of post-it-notes. Each time you come across a genealogy discovery that has you doing the “Genealogy Happy Dance” you add a note to the Genealogy Jar. Then at the end of 2017, you will be able to take those notes out and see how far you’ve progressed in the past year.
Often you don’t realize the progress you’ve made in your family history, with a Genealogy Jar you’ll have a great visual all year round.
